How to have high standards (without all the stress)

I used to be stressed out all the time because I knew I wanted to do a really good job but I actually didn’t even know what I meant by that or how to tell when I’d succeeded.

In order to have high standards and enjoy it, do this:
1. Get very specific about what the high standards mean and what they apply to.
2. Admit what you can control and what you can’t control.
3. Get really clear on what success looks like.
4. Celebrate what is working and keep going.
